Mt. Pleasant Summer Camp 2026

A Message from Daniel Patton, Program Coordinator

Dear Parents and Guardians,

We are excited to announce the Mt. Pleasant Summer Camp 2026! This camp offers students a fun and engaging environment where they can learn new skills, explore technology, and participate in exciting activities throughout the summer. 

Camp Details:

Dates: Monday – Friday, June 17 – July 29

Time: 8:00 AM – 3:45 PM (Open 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Ages: 5 – 14

Location: August Boeger Middle School or Mt. Pleasant Elementary School

During camp, students will participate in hands-on technology activities, including learning how to design and program websites while developing important skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, and problem solving. In addition, students will enjoy engaging activities in math, literature, science, and physical fitness. 

New This Year:

Students can join AI Explorers, an introduction to artificial intelligence where they will learn how AI tools like chatbots and image generators work and how to use them responsibly in a safe and age-appropriate environment. 

Fun Fridays!

Every Friday includes special activities such as water day and fun games for students to enjoy. 

Cost:

• Free for all MPESD students 
• Non-MPESD Students:
  $750 for the full 7-week camp ($25 per day)
  Includes free breakfast and lunch daily. 

Important Dates:

• Days Off
  June 19 (Juneteenth) and July 3 (Independence Day holiday)
• Payment Deadline
  May 22, 2026
• Payments can be made in increments as long as the total is paid by the deadline.
