Welcome to Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District! The enrollment process has begun for the 2025-2026 academic year, and our five schools are welcoming new students. Our classrooms reflect our commitment to positive and empowering educational achievement and social-emotional experiences for our students, staff, and families.
By providing opportunities and resources to excel, our team of expert educators and support staff work every day for the success of our students inside and outside the classroom. In a setting that promotes diversity, equity, belonging, and inclusion, MPESD extends an invitation to families to be part of our school community. The packet has detailed enrollment requirements (requisitos de inscripción/yêu cầu tuyển sinh) on the first page. Please review them carefully and contact your chosen school's secretary if you have any questions.
Be prepared to also have these completed:
- All students entering school for the first time must have a TB Test/Risk Assessment Survey completed.
- Oral Health Assessment completed by your dentist. It must be completed by May 31st of the student's first year of school. Submit the completed form to the school office. If you choose to opt-out of this requirement, please complete and return this form: Oral Health Assessment Wavier.

Required Immunizations
All students must have all vaccinations completed prior to the start of school as required by the State of California. California schools are required to check immunization records for all new student admissions at TK/Kindergarten through 12th grade and all students advancing to 7th grade before entry. Parents must show their child's Immunization Record as proof of immunization. You can find more information at the link below.
