I would like you to know a little about your child’s teacher. This is my thirty-third year teaching. I have taught grades first through fourth. This is my tenth year at Mt. Pleasant Elementary, but I taught at Valle Vista for ten years and Ida Jew for three years before coming here. In the spring of 2005 I was awarded my Masters in Education with an emphases in Instructional Technology at SJSU.
I live in San Jose. I enjoy gardening, going to church, working on websites, traveling, and spending time with my family. I love animals and have a dog and four cats.
I arrive early to work. If you need to contact me about anything this is a good time. The absolute best way to get a hold of me and communicate is my email. I check it several times a day, and I will respond as quickly as possible. My address is khudson@mpesd.org
I really love teaching and I would like to encourage you to visit our classroom and volunteer your time. Students really enjoy parents in the classroom. It makes them feel special. I love field trips and go on many of them. If coming in regularly is not possible, maybe you can help as a chaperone.
