Welcome to the new academic school year! As you already know, I am Mrs. Parico and I will be your student’s 5th Grade ALAS teacher. This year, our class will be working with a new reading program, American Reading Core (ARC), and continue working with Eureka Math. These programs will help in preparing your students for the SBAC and college. Together, I hope that we can help our students succeed.
I love spending time with my friends and family and would not be where I am today if it weren't for them. I give thanks for having such a wonderful (and big) family and would not have it any other way. I have a son named Miles who keeps me busy and moving. I also have a cat named Magneto who loves attention. I also enjoy spending time outdoors, especially at the beach, but can be just as happy cozying up to the fireplace with a good mystery book.
¡Bienvenidos al nuevo año escolar! Como ustedes ya saben, yo soy la Maestra Parico y yo seré la maestra de 5to grado de sus estudiantes en el programa de ALAS. ¡Este año, nuestro salón trabajará con un programa de lectura nuevo, American Reading Core (ARC), y continuaremos trabajando con Eureka Math. Estos programas prepararán a sus estudiantes para el examen estatal (SBAC) y la universidad. Juntos, espero que podamos ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a tener éxito.
Me encanta pasar tiempo con mi familia y amigos y no estaría donde estoy hoy si no fuera por ellos. Doy gracias por tener una maravillosa (y grande) familia y no lo quisiera de ninguna otra manera. Tengo un hijo que se llama Miles y me mantiene ocupada y activa. También tengo un gato llamado Magneto quien ama atención. Me encantan los animales y la alegría que traen a mi vida. También me gusta pasar tiempo al aire libre, especialmente en la playa, pero puede ser igual de feliz leyendo un libro de misterio al lado de una chimenea.
