Course Outline The Fountas & Pinnell Leveled Literacy Intervention System (LLI) is an intensive, small-group, supplementary literacy intervention for students who find reading and writing difficult. The goal of LLI is to lift the literacy achievement of students who are not achieving grade-level expectations in reading.
Course Outline Seventh grade World History introduces students to the expansion and Fall of Rome, the growth of Islam, African Civilizations, Asian civilizations, Medieval Europe, European Renaissance and the civilizations of the Americas in a whole group setting. Students will be given one project per trimester. Daily lessons focus on content standards.
Course Outline Eighth grade United States History will focus on the period right before the American Revolution through Reconstruction (after the Civil War). Content consists of United States geography, Westward Expansion, The American Revolution, The Civil War,US Constitution & government, Reconstruction, The growth of the nation, Early American Culture.

This is my 5th year teaching at August Boeger. I am a case manager for many of my students. I earned my Bachelor's degree from San Jose State University and I earned my teaching credential from National Hispanic University. I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Special Education Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Autism at Brandman University.
