Welcome to Ida Jew Academy! It is with great anticipation and excitement that I introduce myself as your Principal at Ida Jew Academy.  I look forward to our ongoing work with you to provide our students with meaningful learning experiences. Together, as students, teachers/staff and parents, we will be in partnership as a school community. Ida Jew Academy is a STEAM school with a Dual Language Immersion option that serves our school community in support of 21st century education and resources. We learn/ grow together and everyone has value and is a significant part of our school community. 

Homegrown Connection:

I was born and raised in San Jose and attended local schools in the area. I am also the first in my family to graduate from college. I attended Notre Dame de Namur University, earning a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English with a Minor in Communication. With a desire to teach, I earned my teaching credential from the National Hispanic University.  As your Principal, I plan to contribute to the Ida Jew Academy through my past experiences in education as a student, teacher, site administrator (Middle and High School) and as a parent. Outside of work, I spend my time with my two children and wife and can often be found enjoying the sites and sounds of the Bay Area. At Ida Jew Academy we are in partnership and look forward to our work together.
