• Mount Pleasant School District seeks applicants to fill Parcel Tax Advisory Committee vacancies.

     

    Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee

    The Board of Trustees of Mt. Pleasant Elementary School District is seeking qualified, interested individuals to serve on a committee of community leaders which will serve as the Independent Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee (“CBOC”) for the District’s Measure Q (Approved by the voters on November 3, 2020). The advisory committee will meet about three to four times per year for about an hour and present to the Board of Trustees toward the end of the Academic School Year.

     

    Applicants must currently participate in one of the following categories:

    • Community Business Member

    • Parent or guardian of a child enrolled in the District

    • Parent or guardian of a child enrolled in the District and active in a parent-teacher organization.

    • At Large Community Member 

    • Financial Management or School District Experience

    • Senior Citizen’s Organization
