Hello, families! I am Andralee Pervorse, and I am super excited to be teaching third grade at Robert Sanders AVID Elementary in the 2021-2022 school year. I joined Robert Sanders last year in second grade, and before that, I worked in the Mount Pleasant Elementary School District as a Teacher on Special Assignment (TOSA) supporting both new and veteran teachers districtwide. Before becoming a TOSA, I taught third grade for seven years just down the road at Valle Vista Elementary. I also taught first grade for six years prior to that at Valle Vista and in districts in southern California.
In 2000, I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies (Education) and a concentration in Spanish and my preliminary teaching credential from the University of Southern California. Two years later, I received my Master of Science in Learning and Instruction and my clear teaching credential. Since that time, I have taken multiple courses offered by campuses across the state, attended and facitiliated many professional learning opportunities, and completed the Leaders in Educational Administration Program (LEAP) through the Santa Clara County Office of Education earning my Certificate of Eligibility for the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential.
Away from school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband and I have two energetic, creative, and funny daughters who keep us entertained and on the go and a dog we rescued in June of 2019 who loves to play catch and go for walks. We enjoy taking walks together and spying lizards, squirrels, and snail trails; baking cookies and cupcakes; going on bike rides around Cunningham Park; getting crafty; and taking trips to Yosemite whenever possible. I also enjoy exercising daily, reading every night, watching the occasional movie or TV show, and eating all those cookies and cupcakes we bake :)
I am looking foward to a great year! Please feel free to reach out with any questions, comments, or ideas you may have. The Contact Info. page has all the ways you may reach me.
