Mr. Gabriel Alberto Galindo

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to 6th grade! I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child and working together to help your child succeed! As parents and guardians, I understand you are the most important teachers in your child’s life and it is with that understanding that I appreciate the role that you and I each play in the partnership of your child achieving the goals set forth for him or her. 

I would like to begin by taking this opportunity to give you a brief overview of my background and myself. I earned a BS in Psychology from San Jose State University. Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked for the County of Santa Clara Department of Children and Family services as a Social Worker 1. I was also employed as a substitute teacher for the San Jose, Santa Clara, and Sunnyvale school districts for four years prior to receiving my teaching credential. 

It has been my lifelong goal to ensure that those I mentor receive the support and guidance essential to becoming successful in both the academic and social emotional world. All things being said, I am looking forward to a productive fun year!
