Mr. Cheng

6th Grade Teacher/ELD

Hi there! My name is Gideon Cheng, and this is my ninth year at August Boeger. I teach sixth grade math, science, PE, and ELD. This year will be full of fun and learning, and I cannot wait to see your child grow into their fullest potential! 

I was born and raised in San Jose, California. After graduating from Piedmont Hills High School, I received my B.S. in Anthropology and a minor in Biological Sciences from UC Davis. From there, I received my teaching credential from San Jose State University.

I have a beautiful wife, Sarah. Together we sing, dance, travel, and watch Sharks games.
