Welcome to Valle Vista Elementary! It is with great anticipation and excitement that I introduce myself as your Principal at Valle Vista Elementary. Our school transition to the new site at Ida Jew Academy will be supported throughout; and I look forward to meeting everyone. Our ongoing work this school year will provide our students with vibrant learning experiences. Together (students, teachers/staff and parents) we will be in partnership as a larger school community. Valle Vista Elementary is a Visual Arts and Performing Arts school that will continue to support 21st century education and resources. We learn/ grow together and everyone has value and is a significant part of our school community. 

Homegrown Connection:

I was born and raised in San Jose and attended local schools in the area. I am also the first in my family to graduate from college. I attended Notre Dame de Namur University, earning a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in English with a Minor in Communication. With a desire to teach, I earned my teaching credential from the National Hispanic University.  As your Principal, I plan to contribute to Valle Vista Elementary through my past experiences in education as a student, teacher, site administrator (Middle and High School) and as a parent. Outside of work, I spend my time with my two children and wife and can often be found enjoying the sites and sounds of the Bay Area. At both Ida Jew Academy and Valle Vista Elementary we are in partnership and look forward to our work together.
